For
three decades, I’ve worked with
individuals, families, and organizations
in setting meaningful goals and developing
effective plans to reach them. I spent
over 20 years in sales and sales management,
including 10 years at KIRO/CBS in Seattle;
I also built and oversaw the operation
of a multi-million-dollar promotional
agency, and served as managing director
for a telecommunications start-up. But
despite the fact that my career was satisfying
and challenging, I’d known for some
time that my true calling – and
passion – was to work with others
as a counselor and coach. That’s
when I decided to make my own life shift,
following the guidance of my internal
voice and commencing graduate work in
psychology and life coaching, so I could
help others create the life they want
– and deserve.
In
addition to my work as a counselor and
coach, I’m also an active member
of my community. I’ve served on
local non-profit boards, and currently
serve on the development committee for
Navos Mental Health. I’ve worked
with at-risk teens, served as a mentor
to young mothers, and helped launch Oodles
of Doodles, an activity book for critically
ill children. I hold an M.A. in Psychology
& Mental Health Counseling from Antioch
University, a B.A. in Communications from
the University of Washington, and am a
certified coach through Accomplishment
Coaching. I’m also a mother
of two, spouse, and caretaker, so I know
first-hand what it’s like to juggle
the demands of work, family, and self-development.
I tap into the wisdom gleaned from both
my own life experience and professional
training to help you discover your goals
and intentions, then teach you practical
skills for creating real and lasting change
in your life.
For
your convenience, my practice is based
in both Seattle and Bainbridge Island.
I look forward to working with you to
find the answers you seek and make tangible
progress toward the life you want –
and deserve.
